Hosting is essentially providing a secure place to store your website. A Host is a computer which stores your website and makes it available to be viewed on the internet.

A Domain Name is the address, or URL, you type into your web browser, which directs your computer to the Host computer where your website is stored. For example alphadeltadesigns.com is the Domain Name for this site.
